Seafields included as an associated organisation for Coldplay’s ‘Music Of The Spheres World Tour’ in 2024
We are thrilled to share the exciting news that Seafields has once again been chosen as one of the featured environmental businesses by Coldplay for their ‘Music Of The Spheres’ World Tour throughout 2024. This marks our third consecutive year as part of Coldplay's commitment to promoting sustainability and making a positive impact on the environment.
As part of Coldplay's dedication to supporting meaningful causes, the band has allocated 10% of their overall earnings, including touring, records, publishing, and more, to a 'good causes' fund. This fund will be distributed among various environmental and socially conscious projects and charities, with Seafields proudly standing alongside esteemed organizations such as ClientEarth, The Ocean Cleanup, and One Tree Planted.
The ‘Music Of The Spheres’ Tour aims to reduce the direct carbon emissions of previous tours by 50%, covering aspects such as show production, freight, band, and crew travel. On top of this, and in a ground-breaking move, the initiative actively seeks to draw down more carbon dioxide (CO2) than the tour produces.
This commitment involves supporting projects centred around reforestation, rewilding, conservation, soil regeneration, carbon removal, and renewable energy. Furthermore, the tour is funding the planting – and lifelong protection of – millions of new trees including one tree for every ticket sold.
Seafields is honoured to be part of this impactful journey toward a more sustainable and environmentally conscious future, you can find out more here: https://sustainability.coldplay.com/
