Climate breakdown is the single biggest challenge in our lifetimes.
Seafields has a solution for CO2 removal that is easy to visualise. Our compressed Sargassum bales are natural ‘carbon batteries’: ocean grown seaweed, sunk to the abyssal plane of the ocean, which locks away the CO2 for millenia.
The Chance.
Our farm will grow modularly until it reaches ~60,000km². This is between West Virginia and Croatia in size and will make use of the natural ocean gyres to pen the Sargassum naturally as it is in the North Atlantic gyre.
This growth will allow us to become the global leader in producing the highest quality carbon removal credits using our Nature-enhanced solution providing scalability for the compliance markets to ensure liquidity.
