How it works.
A partnership for impact on coastlines and communities
Seafields offers a cost-effective way to keep your beaches free of Sargassum.
Our engineered and rigorously tested deflection barriers are strategically installed within affected bays, redirecting Sargassum before it reaches the shore.
These barriers intercept and contain seaweed, preventing unsightly buildup and protecting your coastline.
With long-term protection and regular maintenance handled by the Seafields team, hotels and governments incur zero maintenance or repair costs.
In return Seafields harvests and removes the Sargassum and transports it to a nearby sustainable processing centre (to turn into green products) provided by the client for responsible management.
Building a circular economy
Seafields processes all the stored seaweed into biostimulants (sustainable fertilizer) and sends the remaining pulp to our partners to be transformed into biochar, bioplastics, and other green products.
Our operations close the loop and create a zero-waste solution for Sargassum.
This supports eco-certifications like the Global Sustainable Tourism Council, increasing hotels credentials and sustainable initiatives.
